Real Estate Development

 

 

 

The Office of Real Estate Development was established to coordinate the development of low to moderate income housing in the Harlem community. HCCI has developed approximately 1900 units of housing and more than 30 commercial spaces including a 45,000 square foot Pathmark supermarket. HCCI manages five developments in partnership with community-based organizations.

Resident and Community Services                                                             The Division of Resident and Community Services works with Harlem residents to improve the quality of their lives and encourage civic participation, by helping them to create and sustain resident leadership groups. This division also facilitates the Community Improvement group (CIG), a partnership with local police precincts, the NYC Parks Department, HPD and neighborhood groups, established to address safety and security issues impacting our neighborhoods and parks.

 

Marketing and Sales
This department markets HCCI homeownership and rental units and provides marketing services to other housing developers with projects in the Harlem community.

Property Management
HCCI contracts with community based property management companies to provide quality housing through expert management and proactive human service delivery plans.

Prestige Management, Inc.
Prestige Management, Inc. manages a large portion of the HCCI portfolio. HCCI and Prestige Management have forged a partnership that provides quality housing through expert management and a proactive social services delivery plan.
