National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS Forum
Each year hundreds attend the National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS Kick-Off Breakfast. Hosted by HCCI, a certified partner of the Balm in Gilead , this event launches Harlem ’s observance of the annual National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS, the largest effort of its kind to stop the transmission of HIV/AIDS and provide compassion for people living with, and affected by , the disease.

A Healing in Harlem
Each year, HCCI hosts the Harlem observance of the Week of Prayer closing event, “A Healing in Harlem,” an 8-hour marathon of education, praise, and worship featuring Dr. Cissy Houston, Melba Moore, and others. This year the event takes place:
