Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS (BCWPHA)
Each year hundreds attend the Annual Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS (BCWPHA) Kick-Off Breakfast. Hosted by HCCI, a certified partner of the Balm in Gilead , this event launches Harlem ’s observance of the annual Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS, the largest effort of its kind to stop the transmission of HIV/AIDS and provide compassion for people living with, and affected by , the disease.
This year the Breakfast takes place:

A Healing on Harlem
Each year, HCCI hosts the Harlem observance of the BCWPHA closing event, “A Healing in Harlem,” an 8-hour marathon of education, praise, and worship featuring Dr. Cissy Houston. This year the event takes place:

Where: Salvation & Deliverance Church , 37 West 116 th Street , btwn. 5 th and Lenox Avenue .
